Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank Recruitment 2010 Online Registration Commences on December 22

Dharwad: Karnataka Vikas Grameena (KVG) Bank has invited applications from Indian citizens for appointment as Officer Scale I, Officer Scale II and Officer Scale III and Office Assistants (Multipurpose). Candidates desirous to apply can register themselves online by visiting the Bank’s official website: http://www.kvgbank.com/.

The online registration will commence from December 22, 2010. Last date of online registration for the aforesaid post is January 21, 2011. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of a written test. The written test for the post of Officers (all scales) is scheduled to be held on April 17, 2011(tentative). Whereas, written test for the post of Office Assistants (multipurpose) will be conducted on April 24, 2011 (tentative).

The written test will be held at Dharwad (11), Belgaum (12) and Bijapur (13). Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the Bank’s aforementioned website. Candidates must have a valid E-mail ID. In case a candidate does not have a valid E-mail ID, he/she should create the same. After filling the online application form, candidates will have to send the print out of the same along with all the required documents through ordinary post. Candidates must write, Print out of Application for the post of (name of the post applied for) in Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank, on top of the envelope containing the application form. HNBGU Final (Second) Counseling for PG Course Admission 2010 Scheduled on Sept 16

HNB Gharwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand, announces to conduct the second and final counseling to fill up few vacant seats in P.G. departments of the faculty of Science and Arts, on September 16, 2010. The counseling will be conducted in the respective departments in Birla Campus, Srinagar, Garhwal.

Candidates are advised to enroll in the departments of their choice from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. In addition, those students who qualified the entrance test conducted by the University but could not be allotted seats of their choice may attend.The counseling shall be held from 12.30 pm to 02:00 pm.

Jamia To Conduct UGC NET Exam on June 27

New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University will be conducting the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) on June 27, 2010 (Sunday).

According to a Jamia Official, this year around 24,000 aspirants will be appearing in the exam at 42 test centers. The official also mentioned that University has displayed the list of the candidates along with the exam center information on its official website.

UGC-NET exams are conducted by 66 universities across the nation. The entrance test is being carried out for the appointment of teachers in colleges and universities all over the country. Junior Research Fellowships are also awarded to students through this competitive exam.

Jamia To Conduct MA Social Work Admission Re-Test on June 23

New Delhi: The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University will conduct its MA Social Work Admission re-test on June 23, 2010 at 3.30 pm. The venue for the re-test will be Commerce Building, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Initially, the MA Social Work entrance examination was conducted on June 15, 2010. However, due to some technical errors in the question paper, the exam has been cancelled and a fresh exam will be held now.

According to the University the Admit Cards/Roll Nos. already issued to the candidates will be valid for the re-test. Candidates are instructed to bring with them the admit cards and another Photo Identity Card with them. In order to avoid any inconvenience, candidates are advised to report at the examination centre at least half an hour before the commencement of the examination.

Jamia will announce the list of the successful candidates eligible for interview on June 25, 2010. The interview will commence on June 28, 2010, and continue till June 29, 2010. List of the selected candidates and wait list will be published on July 1, 2010. Allahabad University LLM Admission Test To Be Held On June 14

The LLM (Master of Laws) Admission Test for University of Allahabad, also known as Allahabad University, is scheduled to be held on June 14, 2010 from 8.00 am to 11.00 am. The examination centers and places will be mentioned in the admit card.

The University will not send admit cards by post. Candidates shall have to obtain the Admit cards and Roll Numbers from the office of the Coordinator LLM AT 2010-11 – Law Faculty Chatham Lines Campus before the test date.

The minimum eligibility prescribed is that candidate must have a LLB Degree from any University recognized by UGC and must have 45% marks in aggregate in the above mentioned degree. The LLM Admission Test shall comprise of three parts each of 100 marks. The maximum marks of the test will be 300 and the time allotted is three hours.
